The Terrasoari Member Covenant

This is a read-only copy of the Member Covenant provided for transparency. Approved members formally review and sign the covenant when they enter the members area.

Purpose

Membership in Terrasoari is a privilege extended to individuals who demonstrate the character, discipline, and commitment necessary to pursue trading as a professional endeavor.

This covenant establishes the principles, standards, and expectations that every member voluntarily agrees to uphold as a condition of membership.

Its purpose is not to guarantee success, but to establish a shared understanding of what is required to develop as a disciplined trader and to preserve the integrity, culture, and standards of the Terrasoari community.

The Nature of Trading

Trading is a business.

More specifically, trading is a skill-based, individual business.

Every trader is responsible for how they operate that business.

Like any successful business, trading requires disciplined decision-making, consistent execution, sound risk management, continuous evaluation, and constant improvement.

A well-designed business can still fail if it is managed poorly.

Likewise, a proven trading methodology can produce poor results when it is not executed consistently and responsibly.

Trading is not gambling.

Trading is not entertainment.

Trading is not prediction.

Trading is not a measure of intelligence or self-worth.

Trading is the disciplined management of risk in pursuit of long-term profitability.

Every trader is the owner, manager, and sole operator of their own trading business.

The quality of that business is determined not by intentions, but by decisions and execution.

Uncertainty and Risk

The financial markets are complex, dynamic, and inherently uncertain.

No trader, coach, indicator, software, strategy, institution, or organization can determine with certainty what the market will do next.

Future price movement cannot be known in advance.

For this reason, trading is not the pursuit of certainty.

Trading is the disciplined management of uncertainty.

Every trade represents a balance between potential reward and accepted risk.

No trade is guaranteed to succeed.

No strategy eliminates uncertainty.

A profitable trade does not prove that a decision was correct.

An unprofitable trade does not prove that a decision was incorrect.

The quality of a trade is determined by the quality of the decision-making process and the consistency of execution—not by the outcome of any single trade.

Successful traders think in probabilities rather than predictions.

They measure themselves by preparation, discipline, execution, and risk management over time.

Within Terrasoari, outcomes are observed, but process is evaluated.

The Purpose of Terrasoari

Terrasoari exists to help individuals develop their own personal trading philosophy through disciplined study, structured training, deliberate practice, and honest self-evaluation.

The Cornerstone Program provides the principles, strategies, risk management framework, decision-making processes, and performance standards that form the foundation of that development.

Each member is responsible for learning those principles, applying them consistently, and refining their own trading business within that framework.

No coach can trade for a member.

No software can replace disciplined execution.

No strategy can compensate for a lack of consistency, accountability, or self-control.

Every member remains fully responsible for the operation and performance of their own trading business.

Member Standards

As a member of Terrasoari, I voluntarily commit to conducting myself according to the following standards.

Persistence

I will continue learning, practicing, and improving through both success and adversity.

I understand that meaningful skill is developed through sustained effort over time.

Consistency

I will execute my trading process consistently rather than allowing emotions, opinions, or recent outcomes to dictate my actions.

Communication

I will communicate honestly with my coach and fellow members.

When I encounter difficulties, I will seek guidance rather than conceal mistakes or isolate myself.

Integrity

I will conduct myself honestly, ethically, respectfully, and professionally in all interactions within the Terrasoari community.

Resilience

I understand that losses, setbacks, mistakes, and periods of difficulty are inevitable.

I will respond by learning, adapting, and improving rather than assigning blame.

Rational Decision-Making

I will strive to make decisions based upon evidence, preparation, probability, and disciplined execution rather than emotion, fear, greed, frustration, or ego.

Continuous Improvement

I accept that mastery is a continuous process.

I will remain a student of the craft and continually refine my knowledge, judgment, and execution.

Accountability

I accept complete responsibility for my decisions, my actions, my execution, and my results.

I understand that responsibility cannot be delegated to my coach, the club, the strategy, the software, the market, or any other person.

Commitment to the Process

I acknowledge that the Cornerstone Program represents the collective experience, research, testing, and refinement developed through years of observation and the experience of hundreds of traders.

I understand that this framework exists because it has demonstrated its effectiveness when executed with discipline and consistency.

I further understand that I am encouraged to develop my own trading philosophy, but that development is expected to occur within the principles, risk management practices, and decision-making framework taught through the Cornerstone Program.

When I choose to deviate from those principles or processes, I acknowledge that I am making an independent decision.

I accept full responsibility for the consequences of that decision.

I will not attribute the results of my own deviations to the club, the coach, the strategy, the software, or the market.

Personal Responsibility

I understand that one of the greatest challenges in trading is allowing success to create overconfidence.

I recognize that early success may create the false belief that discipline is no longer necessary or that established processes no longer apply.

I acknowledge that consistent execution—not confidence—is the foundation of long-term success.

I accept that my responsibility is not to prove that I am right.

My responsibility is to execute my process correctly.

I understand that if I fail to execute the process I have been taught, the responsibility for that failure rests with me.

The strategy does not fail the trader nearly as often as the trader fails the strategy.

Stewardship of the Community

Terrasoari exists to maintain a culture of professionalism, humility, accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement.

Every member contributes to that culture.

I understand that conduct inconsistent with these standards may negatively affect the learning environment for others.

I acknowledge that membership is contingent upon maintaining these standards.

Conduct that demonstrates repeated disregard for the principles of this covenant—including persistent refusal to follow established processes, dishonest communication, disruptive behavior, failure to accept personal responsibility, or behavior inconsistent with the values of the community—may result in suspension or termination of membership.

The determination of whether a member's conduct is consistent with the standards and culture of Terrasoari shall rest solely with the coaching staff.

Member Acknowledgment

By signing this covenant, I affirm that I have read and understand its contents.

I acknowledge that successful trading requires discipline, humility, accountability, and continuous improvement.

I understand that my coach and the Terrasoari community provide education, structure, guidance, and support.

The responsibility for applying those principles rests with me alone.

I voluntarily accept responsibility for operating my trading business professionally.

I commit to evaluating myself by the quality of my preparation, discipline, decision-making, risk management, and execution rather than by the outcome of any single trade.

I accept that continued membership within Terrasoari is contingent upon my continued commitment to these principles and to the culture they are intended to preserve.
